Christopher Molnar http://www.r-bloggers.com/from-openoffice-noob-to-control-freak-a-love-story-with-r-latex-and-knitr/ writes that he is using knitr (pronounced: neater) for presentations and the Tufte LaTeX style. Seems like a good way to generate presentations automatically. I have also seen that some people, notably David Smith http://blog.revolutionanalytics.com/2012/11/create-elegant-interactive-presentations-from-r-with-slidify.html are using knitr, pandoc and slidify to generate presentations.
My last presentation turned out to be a pain trying to get graphs from R working in a beamer poster, so to me this looks like an idea worth pursuing not to mention the potential effficiency gains.
